Pet Shop E-commerce

The starting point

I built an end-to-end e-commerce site for a premium pet shop in the UK that sells raw, dry and treat food. The site covers the whole shopping journey, from browsing a category to adding a product to the cart and checking out.

Highlights

• Product filtering by brand (Albion, Southcliffe…) and category (raw, dry, treats)
• Scrolling showcases for featured products, brands and box deals
• Product page: description, nutritional values, stock status and similar products
• Quantity selection, cart management and totals
• Payments with Stripe
• Products, brands and deals are managed from the Strapi panel
• An SEO-friendly build that works well on mobile, tablet and desktop

Status

When the client decided not to launch the project, I published the front end as open source; the back end (Strapi) was developed separately.
