Focusbun

The idea

Focusbun is a calm Pomodoro timer that comes with a cute bunny who works alongside you while you study or focus on your work. I built it entirely on my own, from idea and design to code and release.

How it works

• While you work, the bunny works with you at its desk.
• Every focus session earns carrots; you use them to feed the bunny, buy it outfits and redecorate its room.
• The more you work, the more the bunny levels up and grows.
• Classic, short and deep focus modes; tracking your work with tags.
• A statistics screen and a daily goal.

Under the hood

All of the bunny's moves (working, celebrating, resting) are interactive animations made with Rive. User data, progress and inventory live in Supabase; in-app purchases and subscriptions are handled by RevenueCat.

A project that shows how I can add gamification systems such as reward loops, character progression and customization to an app.
